Sumit Rai is an independent counsel in Mumbai, practicing with special focus on international and domestic arbitration as well as arbitration related litigation. He also advises on investment treaty disputes and dispute management. Before moving to counsel practice, he was leading the arbitration team at one of the GAR 100 firms in Mumbai. He completed Geneva Masters in International Dispute Settlement (MIDS, LL.M) in 2010-11 and was awarded the first rank. He graduated (LL.B) from Government Law College, Mumbai in 2007 and is enrolled with the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa. His profile can be found here.
